In March of 1979 I was pregnant with my first child. My husband walked away
from me and our unborn baby. I had no idea where he was, so I couldn't get in
touch with him to see if he was going to help me. I was worrying myself sick,
not knowing what I was going to do. There were bills to be paid and I knew that
it would be at least two months before I got back to work. I cried and I prayed
every day for God to help me. I couldn't eat and hardly slept; I was a nervous
wreck.
One night when I went to bed, I prayed again for help. I went to sleep after
a while. Some time during the night I was awakened when something touched my
arm. It was the softest touch I have ever felt. I turned over and opened my
eyes. Standing there was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life.
I really couldn't see her face, but I knew that she was beautiful. She touched
my arm again and said to me to stop worrying, everything was going to be okay.
I have never felt so much peace as I did then. I went back to sleep without
worrying and had a peaceful sleep. The next week I received unexpected money,
enough to get me through until I could get back to work again. I know God heard
and answered my prayers and sent one of his angels to me.
